I’m a goof in real life, but write about serious shit, so that’s what this blog is about.
What began as a running blog in the fall of 2014 is being expanded into a blog that will involve posts about writing, thoughts while in nature, hiking, trailrunning, and being outdoors. These thoughts are tied to living in the Anthropocene and the study of literature, including my own fiction writing under pen name Clara Hume.
The title is a nod to Yeats as well as the title of Part II of my Wild Mountain series.
