I am completely honored to be one of the authors of this beautiful book from Stormbird Press. Note that it appears Stormbird is no longer, but the book is now available at Porchlight. I told the story of our visit to the Atnarko River, which we paddled in late August 2015–it was a grizzly bear rafting tour in Bella Coola, the gateway to the Great Bear Rainforest. Mom and mom-in-law came with us. Definitely one of the best times of my life. I’ve also worked closely with some of the other authors, and got a chance to read the entire proof. It’s a beautiful collection of river stories, the perfect way to celebrate World River’s Day this Saturday.
